Biography

David studied photography at Barking College in Essex where he gained a City & Guilds qualification. At that time (the late 1980's), wedding photography was very much 'old school' with traditional static poses, one album indistinguishable from another.

Feeling more adventurous, David moved into the commercial and advertising photography market. But, a decade later, and with digital capture becoming more prevalent, David returned to social photography which was just about to be revolutionised by this new technology.

His passion and journalistic approach combined with excellent Photoshop skills has attained him a position at the forefront of this new exciting era.

My contemporary style reflects years of listening to couples just like you and photographing many hundreds of weddings and social events. Using today's modern storytelling approach capturing natural, spontaneous impressions of the day. All my wedding photography packages are prepared with this in mind. It's up to you how much formal or informal coverage you want, I'm very comfortable with both.

Firstly, I would like to invite you and your partner to a no obligation appointment to discuss your wedding plans further in Kent. Over a coffee, you can view complete albums showing the various styles and packages on offer.
At this stage it will become more apparent exactly what you require regarding photographic coverage and we can design a package to suit. Whatever your budget, together we will create truly captivating photographs and memories.

I photograph weddings throughout Kent, Essex and all the UK, I'm also available for destination weddings in the Caribbean. All travel costs for local weddings are included, beyond Kent though an additional surcharge may apply. I do usually ask that clients initially come to visit me at my Ashford address.
Once booked a pre-wedding consultation at your venue is included free of charge. This is another chance for us to get to know each other and go through all the timings and photography for your wedding day.
